1. Acceptance of terms

By using punnettsquare.org (“the Service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

The Service provides free online calculators and diagram makers for genetics and biology: Punnett squares, trait predictors, pedigree charts, population genetics and evolution tools. It is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.

3. Educational use only

The tools are made for learning and teaching. They are not medical, genetic or scientific advice, they are not diagnostic tools, and they must not be the sole basis for any medical, family or research decision. Trait predictors (eye colour, hair colour, blood type, height) use simplified textbook models that do not capture real human genetics. Always consult a qualified professional for questions about health or inheritance.

4. Accuracy

We try to keep every calculation correct, but we do not guarantee that results are accurate, complete or fit for any purpose. Verify results independently before relying on them, and understand the assumptions of each tool. You are responsible for how you interpret and use the output.

5. Permitted use

You may use the tools for personal, educational and non-commercial purposes, and you may share screenshots, downloads and links to results with attribution to punnettsquare.org. You may not copy, mirror or resell the Service, remove copyright notices, interfere with its operation, or use it for anything unlawful.

6. Privacy

All calculations run in your browser; your inputs are never sent to us. The site shows advertising and may collect anonymous usage statistics. See the Privacy Policy for details.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, text and code are owned by punnettsquare.org and protected by copyright. Results you create with the tools are yours.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, punnettsquare.org and its operator are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data or loss of opportunity arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service or from reliance on its results.

The Service may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
